MOHNEN ANGUS 26th Anniversary “Power of Genetics” Bull Sale Thursday • 1:00 p.m. February 13, 2020 At the Ranch The future looks bright here at Mohnen Angus Mohnen Angus Steve & Kathy Mohnen 25770 370th Ave. White Lake, SD 57383 (605) 249-2719 Fax (605) 249-2255 Fellow Breeders: We at Mohnen Angus would like to welcome you to our 26th Anniversary sale and 34th year in the Angus breed. We personally would have to thank our customers the most, they are our number one asset that keeps this program running. It is with great honor hearing feedback on how well their bulls have turned out or how powerful their set of calves have become since using Mohnen sired bulls. We have acquired many friendships along the way and would love to continue making many more. I do believe that this set of bulls in this year’s offering is very consistent from top to bottom. The uniformity is outstanding and we are very proud of this set of bulls. They have had a very difficult year starting off with many below zero days through the winter, to the mudding spring and April blizzard and a wet lush grass all summer. No excuses made, but they have exceeded our expectations. I do believe this is a very athletic set of bulls that get out and move well and will be able to service cows with no problems and last many years of their life problem free. 46% of the offering will be from embryo transfer. We have flushed a few of our elite donors trying to get more females out of our top donors and in return, creating more consistency from top to bottom. February 13th you will have the opportunity to select many full and half-brothers to help sire a more uniform calf crop in your own herd. This is a family run operation and we take great pride in the opportunity working with each other on a daily busi- ness doing what we love to do. If anyone has any questions feel free to give Steve, Josh or John a call at any time. We love talking cattle or may help steer you in the right direction possible. We have acquired a partnership with Top Dollar Angus in helping our customers maybe receive more money for their calves and our genetics. If you would like to know more about the program, feel free to give us a call. We can help line you up. Once again, we hope to see you on February 13th at the Ranch at 1 P.M.
