Alan Alexander Alan who hails from Gwersyllt near Wrexham has been refereeing for fourteen seasons and this is his twelth season as a referee on the Huws Gray Alliance panel. He has been involved in local football for over thirty years as a player, manager, coach and now a referee. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf , having the honour of being this years Captain at his local club and is active in supporting charity events for worthwhile causes.. Alan has officiated at the Final

Karl Cosworth Karl hails from Buckley in Flintshire and has progressed via the North East Wales FA. He works as a gas Engineer with BOC. This is Karls first season on the full list following last seasons successful season. Karl is married to Donna and has a sun Rhys. Last season Karl officiated at the League Cup Final and also officiated at the FAW Women’s cup final, the NEWFA Challenge cup final and the Welsh Final

Ian Evans Ian who hails from Wrexham has played football extensively at level four prior to taking up refereeing. This is his sixth season on the Huws Gray Alliance Referees Panel. He works for a local Global Engineering company as a Quality Assurance Inspector testing components for the Aero Industry. Ian has many sports interests and enjoys keeping fit and his ambition is the referee at the highest level in Wales and sees this season as crucial in reaching that goal

Howard Farrell Howard who hails from Abergele is now into his fifth season on the Referees Panel. He has played football to a high level with Tranmere Rovers, Conwy Utd and Caernarfon Town. Howard is employed as Managing Director for Merseyside the local bus company. He enjoys a game of golf and squash and in his spare time and also likes nothing better carrying out a little DIY around the house. Howard officiated T the FAW Women’s Cup Final last season

Mark Farrington Mark who hails from Newtown in Powys and is employed as a postal worker for Royal Mail. This is his second season on the Referees list after officiating in the Spar Mid Wales League and before that playing for teams in the Spar Mid Wales League

Arwyn Griffiths Arwyn hails from Bethesdaa and is registered with the NWCFA.. This is his third season on the full list of the Huws Gray Alliance after progressing via the Welsh Alliance League.

Andy Harms Andy needs no introduction having starting out as a referee as a fourteen year old and has progressed over the last 19 years to be one of the top Referees in North Wales having served two seasons on the full panel of the Welsh Premier League.. He is married to Caroline and has a baby daughter Sophie. Andy has refereed many finals including our own League Cup final as well as officiating at several European appointments in Russia, Serbia, Iceland and Norway.

Ryan HillierSmith Ryan has recently relocated to Bangor from the Cardiff Area for one year. He is studying medicine at Cardiff University bt for this season he has switched to study Sports Science at Bangor University. Ryan who is 21years old and has been officiating in the Welsh League South and also has been on the Referees Development programme in south Wales.He has gained level 4 status this season which will enable him to officiate on the Huws Gray Alliance

Alan Jones Alan who hails from Aberaeron in Ceridegion is married with three children and has been refereeing for twelve seasons. He is registered with Central Wales FA and after refereeing in the Spar Mid Wales League for numerous seasons this will be his first season on the Referees panel of the Huws Gray Alliance League. Alan is employed by the Local Authority and is a retained fire fighter.

Aled Rhys Jones . Aled who hails from Cilcennin near Lampeter is marries with two children and is employed by the Farmers Union of Wales as an Area Officer. This is Ale’s fourth season as a referee and his first on the Huws Gray Alliance full panel. Prior to taking up the whistle Aled played for numerous clubs in the Ceredigion area. Aled was in charge of one of last seasons Welsh Trophy semi finals. Away rom football Aled is kept busy on his farm.

Gareth Wyn Jones Gareth hails from Bontnewydd in Gwynedd and commenced refereeing in 2001 at the age of 16.After a successful spell on the Welsh Alliance he was promoted onto the Huw Grays Alliance Referees List. This is Gareth’s second season on the full list He has officiated at the NWCFA Challenge Cup and League Cup Finals. Gareth’s hobbies include reading and an active participation in a Local male voice choir.

Peter Kewley This is Peter’s third season on the full panel following on from a rapid progression in the NWCFA area over the last couple of seasons. Away from football Peter likes nothing more than reading a good crime thriller and looking to improve his refereeing ability in order to progress further. Peter who hails from Rhyl is employed as a Civil Servant and lives with his wife Rachel and son Sam.

Paul Morgan Paul who is married with two grown up children hails from Aberystwyth has been involved in football for many years as a player with Aberystwyth and Penrhyncoch., before moving on to various coaching roles before taking up the whistle. This is Paul’s sixteenth season as a referee, he works for the Forrestry Commission and has also taken up mountain biking as a hobby. Other interests are cricket, reading and music.

ick Pratt This will be Nicks third season on the Referees Panel and will also be officiating on the Welsh Premier League following a successful playing career. He is employed as an External Technical Sales Engineer for a local engineering supply company. In his spare time Nick is involved with a local Sunday football team and still enjoys playing 5 a side football. Nick is also accomplished in the art of Karate and Kung Fu. He lives with partner Kati and two children Erin and Mali in Connahs Quay. Nick officiated at last seasons Welsh Trophy Final. Mike Pugh Mike who is one of the most respected officials on the League is now in his sixteenth season on the Referees Panel and hails form Lydbury North in Mid Wales. Sport is very much a part of Mike’s life on and off the field, working for the Local Authority as a Operations Manager for grounds maintenance.. He has gained his UEFA Class C coaching Licence and regularly coaches youngsters. Mike played football for many years until injury forced early retirement. He has officiated at the Welsh Cup Final ,Welsh Premier Cup Final, Welsh Trophy Final,Welsh Youth Final and the Welsh Women’s Cup Final

John Bryn Roberts John who comes from Llanllyfni near Caernarfon is a self employed flue liner specialist and is in his fifth season on the referees list and has been one of the Leagues most consistent performers. He enjoys spending time with his family and is a football fanatic as is his wife who plays football. He has recently had the honour of been promoted onto the FIFA Assistant referees panel

Phil Roszkowski Phil who comes from Wrexham is now in his ninth on the Huws Gray Alliance League list after having played for many years in the Welsh National and Cymru Alliance Leagues. He is employed as a Team Leader in the Home Care /Social Services Dept in Wrexham.. In his spare time he is keen on spending time with his wife Sue and two sons and going fishing, mountain biking,running and bird watching. Phil had the honour of officiating in the 2008/09 Welsh Cup Final

John Spender John who is a sports fanatic hails from Leeswood near Mold is in his tenth season on the Referees panel. He is one of the fittest referees you will come across and likes nothing better than taking part in long distance and cross country running in his spare time. John is employed by a local Civil engineering company spending most of his time on site. John has officiated at the Welsh Cup Final and at the North East Wales FA Challenge Cup Final.

John Swindley John who is 25 years of age hails from Gwersyllt near Wrexham, and this will be his sixth season on the Huws Gray Alliance . John is also an Assistant Referee on the FIFA International Panel. John is actively involved in the Referees Association and is secretary of the North East Wales RA.. John works as a Data Analyst for a well known international company in Stoke. His hobbies are music (an active saxophonist) and all sports. John officiated at the Welsh Cup Final. In 2008 Martin Trigg Martin is employed as a Community Services Supervisor with the Probation Services and following a successful playing career has successfully made the change to refereeing with some success This is Martins fourth season on the Huws Gray Alliance full panel and has demonstrated a consistency with his displays . Martin’s hobbies include DIY, Films, Cricket and plane spotting. Martin is chairman of the Rhyl and District Referees Association as well as being Referees Secretary for the Rhyl and District Junior Football League.

Gwynne Vaughan Gwynne who hails from Abergele is a schoolteacher and has worked at a number of schools in North Wales. He has been refereeing for nine seasons in the North Wales Coast Area after finishing playing prematurely due to injury. His hobbies outside of football are walking, reading and traditional Welsh folk music This is Gwynne’s fourth season on the full panel.

Martin Williams Martin who hails from Johnstown near Wrexham is married with two children. This is Martin’s seventh season on the Referees panel for the Huws Gray Alliance having taken up refereeing in 1997. Martin is employed on the paint assembly line at Vauxhall Motors in Ellesmere Port. Martin is very much a family man with his wife Carla acting as his PA and son Geraint keen to take up refereeing when he reaches a suitable age. Last season Martin officiated at the Welsh Cup Final and the Welsh National League Premier Final
