Create an account on YouTube (Find out more at https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/161805?hl=en&ref_topic=3024170) Create a Google Account to sign in to YouTube. With a Google Account, you can access many YouTube features, including Like, Subscribe, Watch Later, and Watch History. YouTube can also recommend videos based on what you've watched, liked, and subscribed to. a. Go to youtube.com. b. In the top right, click Sign in. c. Click Create Account. If you have a gmail account you can use it to sign in. Or, click More options, then Create Account and follow the prompts. To upload videos, leave comments, or create playlists, you can create a channel on your account. 2. Create a new channel on YouTube (Find out more at https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1646861) With a Google Account (gmail), you can watch and like videos and subscribe to channels. However, without a YouTube channel, you have no public presence on YouTube. Even if you have a Google Account, you need to create a YouTube channel to upload videos, comment, or make playlists. You can use a computer or the YouTube mobile site to create a new channel. Follow these instructions to create a personal channel that only you can manage using your Google Account. a. Sign in to YouTube on a computer or using the mobile site. b. Try any action that requires a channel, such as uploading a video, posting a comment, or creating a playlist. c. If you don't yet have a channel, you'll see a prompt to create a channel. d. Check the details (with your Google Account name and photo) and confirm to create your new channel. Click on Upload at the top of the page. c. Before you start uploading the video you can chose the video privacy settings. d. Select the video you'd like to upload from your computer. You can also create a video slideshow or import a video from Google Photos. As the video is uploading you can edit both the basic information and the advanced settings of the video, and decide if you want to notify subscribers (if you uncheck this option no communication will be shared with your subscribers). Partners will also be able to adjust their Monetization settings. e. Click Publish to finish uploading a public video to YouTube. If you set the video privacy setting to Private or Unlisted, just click Done to finish the upload or click Share to privately share your video. If you haven’t clicked Publish, your video won’t be viewable by other people. You can always publish your video at a later time in your Video Manager. Once the upload is completed we will send you an email to notify you that your video is done uploading and processing. 4. If your video is longer than 15 minutes (Find out more at https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/71673?hl=en&ref_topic=2888648 or https://youtu.be/LCWvCCDzAYo By default, you can upload videos that are up to 15 minutes long, but you can upload longer videos by following the steps below to verify your account. If you have live streaming access, long uploads are enabled by default. To upload longer videos, verify your account with the following steps: a. On a computer, go to the upload page at youtube.com/upload. b. At the bottom of the page, click Increase your limit. You can also go directly to https://www.youtube.com/verify c. Follow the steps to verify your account. You can choose to receive a verification code through a text message on a mobile phone or an automated voice call. d. Once you've verified your account, you can upload videos that are longer than 15 minutes long. Note: Make sure you’re using an up-to-date version of your browser so you can upload files greater than 20GB. The maximum file size you can upload to YouTube is 128GB. Digital ads, while similar, are powerful because they are tailored to suit individual interests and go with us everywhere: the bookshelf you thought about buying two days ago can follow you through your favorite newspaper, social media feed, and your cousin’s recipe blog. Digital ads also display in internet search results, email inboxes, and video content, making them truly ubiquitous. Just as with a full-page magazine ad, publishers rely on the revenues generated by selling this ad space, and the advertiser relies on a portion of prospective customers clicking through to finally buy that bookshelf. Like any market, digital advertising requires the matching of buyers (advertisers) and sellers (publishers), and the intermediaries facilitating such matches have more to gain every year: A PwC report estimated that revenues for internet advertising totaled $57.9 billion for 2019 Q1 and Q2, up 17% over the same half-year period in 2018.1 Google is the dominant player among these intermediaries, estimated to have netted 73% of US search ad spending2 and 37% of total US digital ad spending3 in 2019. Street View app and the Samsung Gear 360 2 The Street View app (for both Android and iOS) is what you use to create and upload Street Views. The Samsung Gear 360 is one of about four 360 cameras that the Google Street View app is setup to work with (meaning the app can control the camera pretty seamlessly). Most people use the Street View app only to view off-road street views. You can also view off-road street views in plain old Google Maps, but the Street View app makes it a little easier to find user generated content. If you have a VR device such as the Google Cardboard, you can view Street Views in 3 cardboard mode .​ In terms of content creation, the Street View app has three main functions: i) control the camera, ii) process images (which includes stitching them together, blurring faces and license plates, adding locations as needed, and linking nearby photos), and iii) upload the images to Google Street View (after which they’ll be available in Google Maps immediately).
