Kosovo borders Serbia in the north and east, Macedonia to the south, Albania to the southwest and Montenegro in the northwest. Kosovo's area is 10,908 km ². The climate in Kosovo is continental with hot summers and cold winters. Kosovo is divided into 37 municipalities. The capital of Kosovo is Pristina. We believe that this publication will serve as a useful reference point for all users of KAS statistical data and will serve as useful and relevant economic information for Kosovo. Based on the Eurostat request, starting from the second quarter of 2018 (Q2 2018), the publication has undergone some changes in the telecommunications sector, by including data from other operators, in order to cover all telecommunications services offered in our country. Assessment and Environmental Reporting completed the Report and submitted it to the Office of the CEO of KEPA, asking him to proceed for the approval in the Assembly of Kosovo, as required under Article 25 of the Law on Environment Protection. The purpose of the publication is to present the development trend of this sector to the country's economy. We believe that this publication will serve as a useful reference point for all users of KAS statistical data and will serve as useful and relevant economic information for Kosovo.
