The Putnam County Board of Education met in a regular meeting pursuant to WVC 18-5-1c on Monday, February 6, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at the Central Office in Winfield, West Virginia.

Discussion

 Mr. Cunningham would like to recognize the Hurricane Police Department and their handling of the possible threat at Hurricane High School on January 19, 2017.  Mr. Hudson noted that he had a very good visit at Poca Middle School.  Mr. Knell asked Mr. Cross, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, if there is a county policy that limits the number of times a person can take Professional Leave.
