Welcome reception and orientation of trek. We prefer to take time for refreshment and shopping necessities for trek in next day of arrival. Trek Starts Day 1 Drive form Kathmandu to Nadi, Besisahar It takes about 8 hrs. drive to reach Nadi. Here you spent our first day of trek. The good view of Marsyangdi river will refresh your evening. Overnight at Guest House. Day 2 Nadi to Chamje (1400m) 7 hours We pass through the paddy fields and forests, waterfalls and great view of Marsyangdi river and reach cliff in Jagat that are the home to wild bees. Day 3 Chamje to Bagarchhap (2160m) 6 hours The trail begins with a climb uphill through rhododendron, pine and bamboo forests and reach the Tal Village. The way through field of Buck wheat, barley, and potatoes reach the Dharapani. The west turn takes the route goes through pine and fir forest leads you to the typical stone houses with flat roofs village; Bagarchhap. Overnight at Bagarchhap. Day 4 Bagarchhap to Chame (2650m) 6 hours Today we enjoy exquisite views of Manaslu, Lamjung and Annapurna mountains along the rough rocky trails. Chame is the headquarter of Manang and beautiful local market. We can view the beautiful Annapurna II (7937m) and enjoy the small hot spring nearby. Overnight in Chame. Day 5 Chame to Pisang (3250m) 5 hours The trail passes along the narrow Marsyangdi river through the forest of pine trees and beautiful meadows to reach Bharthang. The trail goes ascend uphill through the forest of firs and pine to reach Pisang via Dhukur Pokhari village. Pisang offers majestic views of Annapurna II towards the south. You can also visit a gompa at the upper Pisang. Overnight at Pisang. Day 6 Pisang to Manang (3520m) 5 hours Here we see the mesmerizing sunrise view and the first ray of light on Annapurna II. The trail goes through the flora and fauna, lush jungle, wetlands and beautiful gorges of high altitude. The way offers you the beautiful view of Annapurna II, Annapurna III and Pisang Peak. The way goes through the Stupas and Lama Schools on the route to reach the Barga. In Barga, there are some inns and shops. 900 years old monastery is also in this village. After refreshing here, we will walk again and within one hour we reach to the Manang. Overnight at Manang. Day 7 Manang (acclimatization) We prefer to acclimatize here at Manang to avoid the risk of high-altitude sickness as you move higher and to take rest for a day after almost 5 days of trek. Spend a day in Manang. Explore the village or hike up to Gangapurna Lake in the afternoon. Day 8 Manang to Yak Kharka (4020m) 4 hours The path goes ascend through alpine vegetation and highland meadows with yaks and horses grazing. The journey about 10 kilometers long, acclimatization ascent from Manang (3555 m) through Thorong Khola valley to Yak Kharka (4035 m). Along the way there are beautiful views, especially of Gangapurna. However, you can also choose to walk an hour more to Letdar and spend the night there. Nepal Travel Guide Pvt. Ltd. Day 9 Yak Kharka/Ledar to Throng Phedi (4600m) 5 hours We follow the Jarang River, meadow surrounded by vertical cliffs on uphill trail. After crossing the river, we will continue walking uphill till you reach Pedi. Overnight at Throng Phedi. Day 10 Thorong Phedi to Thorong La Pass(5416m) to Muktinath (3802m) 8 hours Today is the most tough day on the trek. Be careful about the altitude and strong winds. We are going to cross the highest navigable mountain pass in the world. The trail you follow today has been used for hundreds of years by Nepalese and Tibetan traders. It takes about 6 hours to reach Thorong La Pass. We can enjoy the close view of Annapurna, Gangapurna, Dhaulagiri, on continuing to trek along the descending trail, to reach the Muktinath, one of the holistic shrines of Hindus and Buddhist. Day 11 Muktinath to Jomsom (2750m) via Kagbeni 6 hours Today, we visit the holy shrine of Muktinath. Legend believe that visiting the temple will relieve all our sorrows and pains. The 108 water sprouts around the temple are one of the major attractions. After visiting Muktinath we follow the trail to Jomsom from Muktinath. Trek past meadows, streams and apple orchards to reach Kagbeni. We reach the Jomsom, located in the Kali Gandaki valley, overnight at Jomsom. Day 12 Jomsom to Tatopani (1190m) 5-hour drive Today we drive to Tatopani. The ride is exciting, and you enjoy the beautiful landscapes around. The main attraction of the Tatopani is hot spring. Overnight at Tatopani. Day 13 Tatopani to Ghorepani (2750m) 7 to 8 hours Today we walk through the villages and farmland to reach the Ghorepani. On the way to Ghorepani, will get the chance to witness different people of different ethnicities. The culture and traditions of the locals are inspiring. Overnight at Ghorepani. Day 14 Poonhill to Nayapul to Pokhara 8 hours Early morning, we trek to Poonhill which offers one of the best sunrise views. Poonhill is also known as the photographer’s paradise. The panoramic view of Himalayas offers the memorable pictures. We stay on the top for a while and back to Ghorepani for breakfast and trek about 5 hrs. to Nayapul and a short drive to Pokhara about 1 hr. Overnight at Pokhara.
