Cllr A Robinson declared an interest in relation to agenda to item 5 8. “ A Member of my family uses the charity Follow my Dreams and I have made a donation” The next One Voice Wales Code of Conduct training is scheduled for the 20 March in Bridgend. The three Members who have not undertaken the training are to confirm with Clerk their availability to attend. A42 3 Minutes To confirm and sign the minutes of the Monthly Meeting held on the 12 February 2019 Resolved: that the minutes of the Monthly Meeting held on the 12 February 2019 were confirmed and were duly signed by the Chair as a true record. 4 Action Table To note the Clerks report on actions from the meeting on the 12 February 2019. 139 Clerk circulated a report updating Members on progress made on CCTV at Codgers Corner. Resolved: that the report (i) was noted, (ii) it was agreed to purchase the WCCTV 4G IR Speed Dome camera, including 4TB Hard Drive, 2 years 8GB 4G SIM, 12 months warranty for £6,500, as shown in the report, and (iii) a SIM contract will need to be renegotiated every two years, current costs is estimated at between £300- 500 depending on usage. A139 The Clerk reported that a reply from Davies Homes in relation to the pre application planning consultations for its intention to apply for planning permission for the development of 125 dwellings at Tynant, had been received. In the reply it was said that ‘the present development is being discussed by directors and advisors with a view to submit a planning application in due course’. Resolved: that the reply from Davies Homes was noted. 150 Councillor M Davies reported to Members that Cylch Meithrin now has a full committee. 12 Request to RCTCBC for a lid for bin at start of PROW 292 Clerk has received a reply from RCTCBC. ‘Unfortunately we have no bins available at the moment, normally the closed top post mounted bins are only placed in Zone 1 areas, I’m not sure when the next batch will be ordered, if anything comes available, we will look to change over the bin’. To consider funds from the Beddau and Tynant Wards be allocated to the Schools Out activities. In order for the Council to consider a request for financial assistance Councillor Barton was advised to submit a grant application. Resolved: that (i) Taff Ely Llantrisant Rambles was awarded a grant of £150. Council thanked the volunteers for their assistance on its Bunny Walk routes, (ii) RCT Performance Swim Squad was awarded a grant of £200, (iii) Penrhys Pilgrims was awarded a grant of £60 towards its floral project, (iv) Wales Air Ambulance was awarded a grant of £500, (v) Urdd National Eisteddfod was not awarded financial support as it is outside of our area but looks forward to welcoming the festival to RCT in 2022, (vi) Follow Your Dreams was not awarded a grant due to the balance of reserves shown in accounts, and (vii) £1,200 was allocated from the Beddau and Tynant Ward Project Funds for Schools Out activities. Resolved: that the report be noted and the decisions for the determinations be deferred until the next meeting. 9 Planning To consider planning applications received since the last meeting.
