USY and Kadima had an amazing time at our Pre-Disney Lock-in and Yom Disney 2020! We USY PROUDLY PRESENTS had 16 USYers and Kadimaniks from 3 different chapters (SRQUSY, SPUSY, and KAUSY) attend YOUTH & our Lock-in on Saturday, February 15. We began the evening with Havdallah with Rabbi FAMILY Blatt, then enjoyed a dinner catered by MEATLESS Nosh Catering. We jumped into fun with a Star Wars-themed Scavenger Hunt created by our very own Kadima Board. After MONDAY playing some games and singing karaoke, we enjoyed roasting M o n d a y , M a r c h 2 marshmallows and making s’mores by the campfire out back. 6 : 0 0 - 9 : 0 0 p m We ended the night by watching Disney’s Teen Beach Movie, R S V P B y : S u n d a y , M a r c h 1 and headed to catch a few Zzz’s for our big day at Disney World. y o u t h @ k o l a m i . o r g On Sunday morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast (again, J o i n U S Y a n d E t h e l P i l a i n t h e K o l A m i catered by Nosh) and got ready to get on the bus for Yom Disney! Wristbands are available to pre-order in the front office or school office for $20 each, or pay $25 at the door. We also have a fun-packed Megillah Read- ing on Monday, March 9, starting with dinner at 6:00 p.m. and continuing with games, trivia contests, and Costume Parades for kids and adults! We have a very special Purim Spiel planned this year – make sure to join us for all the fun!
