The National Fishing Corporation of Namibia (FISHCOR) was founded on 27 December 1991 in accordance with the National Fishing Corporation of Namibia Act, 1991 (Act No. 28 of 1991), which paved the way for the establishment of the subsidiaries Seafl ower Lobster Corporation Ltd and Seafl ower Whitefi sh Corporation Ltd.
