IOC Young Reporters selected to attend the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games Lucas Marinelli, 22, Argentina Lucas studied at the oldest School of Sports Journalism in Buenos Aires, the Escuela de Periodismo Deportivo del Círculo de Periodistas Deportivos. He is currently advising two national soccer personalities writing their autobiographies for respected publishing company LIBROFÚTBOL. Previously, he worked at Argentina’s only sports newspaper, Olé. Dylan Burns, 25, Australia Dylan is a sports photographer selected for the first IOC Young Photographers programme in Buenos Aires 2018. He is one of only two full-time photographers for the AFL, one of Australia’s biggest sports. Previously, he worked for The Courier, the local newspaper in Ballarat, a country town in south-west Victoria. Anmar Goodridge-Boyce, 20, Barbados Anmar is both a print and broadcast journalist at The Nation Publishing Co. Limited, having previously worked as a sports reporter at the Barbados TODAY online newspaper and CBC Sports. His career goal is to become an international sports broadcaster, news reporter or football commentator. He earned a degree in Mass Communication from the Barbados Community College. Xiao Yazhuo, 25, China Yazhuo works as a Chinese and English language sports reporter with the Xinhua News Agency in Beijing. He has covered many international and national sports events such as the Badminton World Championships, ATP Rolex Shanghai Masters and Chinese National Games. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in World Economics and Trade from China Foreign Affairs University. In 2017, he won two national journalism awards: Story of the Year by Xinhua News Agency plus First Prize of National Fitness Journalism Awards. Filip Ozbolt, 23, Croatia Filip is a text and television sports reporter at the only national sports newspaper in Zagreb, Sportske Novotsi, covering many sports including ice hockey, BMX, football, wrestling, UFC/MMA, handball, basketball and profiling many of Croatia’s top athletes. He also worked as a PR assistant for the Zagreb-based professional ice hockey club, Medveščak. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism, and is currently studying for a Master of Arts in journalism at the Faculty of Political Science at Zagreb University. Sharome Burton, 23, Dominica Sharome was the winner of the Steve Parry Award for the Most Outstanding Young Reporter at the IOC Young Reporters Programme held during the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires in 2018. He was previously a news and sports reporter at DBS Radio, and is now a prolific contributor to thewichitan.com at Midwestern State University, USA, where he is currently completing a Mechanical Engineering degree. Chloe Knott, 23, Great Britain Chloe is a sports photographer from London who was part the first IOC Young Photographers programme in Buenos Aires. She has the enviable job of covering Manchester City FC and English Premier League football matches, as well as tennis, polo, rugby and GB Taekwondo. Outside photography, Chloe has a passion for theatre, and is working towards a BA (Honours) in Technical Theatre Arts at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Annesha Ghosh, 25, India Annesha is a multimedia journalist with ESPN (India) Digital Services Pvt Ltd. Primarily a writer-reporter, her work on cricket, tennis, hockey, shooting and sport-climbing has been published on ESPN.com, TheCricketMonthly.com, AIPS.com, FISU.net, and BuenosAires2018.com. She has a Master's in English Literature from the University of Calcutta and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from Jadavpur University. She aims to establish herself as one of Asia's best multimedia journalists on the Olympic circuit by Paris 2024. Maho Obata, 24, Japan Maho is a staff writer in the photo department of Nikkei Inc., one of the national newspapers in Japan with a daily circulation of three million and the world's largest financial newspaper. She photographs sumo, baseball, football, BMX, skateboard, karate and general news. Her goal is to become an outstanding sports photo journalist within the next 10 years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aesthetics and Art History from Keio University, Tokyo. Paloma Gutiérrez Méndez, 23, Mexico Paloma has worked as news and sports reporter with Radio y Televisión de Aguascalientes (RyTA) and Radio BI in Aguascalientes, Mexico. She earned a degree in Communications and Information at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. Jeroen Adriaanse, 21, The Netherlands Jeroen is a Junior Data Editor for Opta Sports in Amsterdam, providing live support and editorial facts for on- screen graphics during football matches and other sports content. He earned a degree in Communication and Media, and is halfway through his Master’s degree in Marketing Management at Erasmus University, Rotterdam. Niall Anderson, 22, New Zealand Niall is senior sports reporter with the New Zealand Herald, covering cricket, rugby and cycling. He edits the sports section of the Monday Herald newspaper, and will be covering the 2019 Cricket World Cup in the United Kingdom. Niall earned a Bachelor of Communication Studies at Auckland University of Technology. Fátima Martinez Cabrera, Paraguay Fátima is a sports reporter with Diario ABC Color newspaper, a major Paraguayan newspaper in the city of Asunción. She also works in television and radio for ABC TV, and reported at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Fátima graduated with a BA in Communications at the Catholic University of Asunción. Mbosse Seck, 25, Senegal Mbosse is the Communications Officer of the National Olympic Academy of Dakar, Senegal, which will host the next Summer Youth Olympic Games in 2022. She is in the final year of her degree at the Information Sciences and Technology Centre in Dakar. Berta Ballesteros Casado, 24, Spain Berta is a freelance video journalist. She earned a Master’s degree in Documentary and Transmedia Journalism from Universidad Carlos Ill de Madrid and Radio Televisión Española, and a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Recently she covered Karate’s European Championships in Guadalajara and the ITU Multisport World Triathlon Championships in Pontevedra. Emma Holmsen, 24, Sweden Emma is in her last term of journalism at the University of Gothenburg, and is currently enjoying a 20-week internship at Radiosporten, the biggest sports radio station in Sweden. Emma says she loves to meet people and be able to tell their stories.
