I am providing the attached in response to your telephone request for Department of Community Affairs’ policy publications for the Governor’s administration archives.

There are copies of DCA Reports including that of November 1979 which was the first issue following Secretary Shirley M. Dennis’ nomination, the department Year in Review issues, and the department’s twentieth anniversary issue. These, together with the enclosed departmental brochure, provide a broad overview of our policies, programs and activities during the administration.

Also in the packet are copies of A Housing Policy for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the report of the Governor’s Task Force on Housing, which was established as a result of the Governor’s housing policy. In addition, there is a copy of The Commonwealth Housing, Community Revitalization, and Enterprise Development initiative with accompanying policy statements for the Enterprise Zone Program.

Finally, you will not a copy of the cover of Up and Comers, the new Enterprise Zone publication. We expect to receive the printed copies within a few days and a copy will be forwarded to you.
