PRIOR LAKE – APRIL 2, 2018 – The multi-talented Jill Scott will take the Mystic Showroom stage at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 21.
Three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, New York Times bestselling poet, and critically acclaimed actress are only a few titles held by Jill Scott. The platinum-selling triple threat began her career collaborating with musical icons The Roots, Will Smith, and Common in the late ‘90s and has garnered No. 1 albums that include “The Light In The Sun” and her most recent release, “WOMAN.”
Never limited to music, Jill Scott is a true renaissance woman and her artistry extends across books, clothing, TV and film. In addition to various standout film/TV roles, she was the lead in the Peabody Award-winning HBO/BBC mini-series, “The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency” and penned the New York Times bestseller, “The Moments, The Minutes, The Hours.” She also founded the Blue Babe Foundation that offers scholarships and mentoring programs for the most underserved communities of North Philadelphia and Camden.
