Orientation on Inspection SOP for POs was conducted on 3 Jan. Questions were raised about the availability of compliance on the age limit of filled sites for construction of housing. The Inspection SOP and building codes do not provide any specifications on this. Instead, no filled areas are habitable and houses on such sites will not comply for the housing grant. 3. In some areas VDCs are on steep slopes, of greater than 20 degrees, and have been found to be safe for reconstruction. As the building codes state that land with a slope of 20 degrees is not suitable for construction, it was not clear how this could be managed during inspection. - Kavrepalanchok 4. In some areas, road expansion is affecting eligible households as their land is being P reduced. Also the certification of completed houses is different for the reconstruction grant HRR and the case of road widening. As a result, conflicts may arise in certification according to © the Inspection Process and the Municipal Process for road widening.
