Adamson University is heralding a new era with the installation of Fr. Marcelo Manimtim, CM as its sixth University President. AdU installs new University President Fr. Manimtim was formally installed on by Yael Esperat December 7, 2015 in simple ceremonies held at the Ozanam Audio-Visual Room inside the campus. Highlights of the ceremony include the symbolic turnover of the Presidential Medallion and Mace to Fr. Manimtim from his predecessor Fr. Gregorio Bañaga Jr., CM, fifth University President. Fr. Bañaga served as president from 2003 to 2015. Fr. Venerando Agner, CM, chairman of the Board of Trustees, administered the Oath of Office to Fr. Manimtim.

Fr. Manny, as he is fondly called, was born on October 30, 1950 in Tagaytay City. He is the second alumnus to become University President, having graduated from the AB AdU’s new University President Fr.
