UEFA Super Cup 2016 FAQs 1. Where will the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ be played? The 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ will be played in Trondheim, Norway, at Lerkendal Stadion on Tuesday 9th August 2016, kicking off at 20.45 CET (local time). 2. When will the ticket sales start? Ticket sales for the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ will start on Monday 30th May 2016 at 12.00 CET and will close on Thursday 30th June 2016 at 12.00 CET. https://supercup.tickets.uefa.com is the only official sales channel. 3. How do I apply for tickets? Can I obtain tickets for the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ from online auction or ticket exchange sites? Are these official tickets? https://supercup.tickets.uefa.com will be the only official sales channel for all general public tickets to the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™. Tickets sold through any other channels, such as for example: online ticket brokers, auction websites, ticket resale platforms, private classifieds etc. are unauthorized by UEFA. We especially encourage fans not to be lured into deals with street touts, who not only demand prices far exceeding the face value of the ticket but may also sell counterfeit, cancelled or invalid tickets and are often not even in possession of the tickets they purport to have for sale. Seats will also be reserved for each of the clubs that reaches the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ who will be selling participating teams’ tickets directly to their club’s fans few weeks before the match. Please enquire directly with the participating club concerned about the possibility to purchase such tickets. 4. Who can apply for tickets through UEFA.com? Tickets offered for sale during the online sales period are intended for neutral football supporters worldwide who would like to attend the match irrespective of which clubs qualify. Please note that these tickets are for individuals only. 5. What are the rules for applying for tickets for the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™? When applying for tickets for the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™, you are bound by the ticketing terms and conditions laid down by UEFA and the Football Association of Norway. How much do tickets cost? Tickets for the general public are available in the following price categories: Category Full View Restricted View Category 1 150 120 Category 2 90 70 Category 3 50 40 Wheelchair user/ Easy Access 50 - + companion/carer 7. What are restricted view tickets? Restricted view tickets are seats with a slight view restriction due to structural elements existing in the venue. They are offered at a discounted price. Restricted view tickets are available for the following prices: Category Restricted View Category 1 120 Category 2 70 Category 3 40 3 8. Where is each category situated in the stadium? The stadium is split into three categories situated as follow: Category 1 >> Centrally positioned Category 2 >> Mainly in the corners Category 3 >> Behind the goals 9. Can I apply for tickets in different price categories? Applications can only be made for tickets within one price category. However, in order to increase lottery winning chances, applicants can indicate that they would willing to accept tickets in a different price category by ticking the appropriate box on the application page at the ticket portal. In such case, if tickets in the price category selected are no longer available, applicant may be allocated tickets in another price category. You may only ever be upgraded or downgraded by one price category. 10. Are any tickets available at reduced rates? Applicants for wheelchair spaces who are successful in the lottery will be allocated tickets in category 3 and will receive a complimentary ticket for an accompanying person. 4 11. Are tickets available for Disabled Spectators? Accessibility tickets are available for the 2016 UEFA Super Cup for persons who require accessible (disabled-friendly) seating. Two categories of accessibility tickets, wheelchair user and easy access, are provided and these accessible seats will be available in the general public and hospitality areas. 12. What is a wheelchair user ticket? Wheelchair user tickets are provided for disabled persons who use a manual or electric wheelchair to get around. Dedicated wheelchair user areas are generally located close to accessible amenities at the stadium. 13. What is an easy access seat? Tickets for easy access seats are provided for disabled people who do not use a wheelchair but require seating with easy access that is close to accessible amenities. Easy access seats are suitable for disabled people with limited mobility requiring minimal or no stepped access, extra legroom, disabled people with assistance or guide dogs and disabled spectators who prefer to sit in designated disabled-friendly areas. Disabled people requiring easy access may include ambulant disabled people, partially sighted and blind people, hard of hearing and deaf people and other disabled people who prefer to sit in accessible (disabled-friendly) areas of the stadium. 14. Are companion / carer tickets available for an accompanying person? Dependent on requirement and proof of disability, a complementary companion / personal assistant ticket will be provided to assist and accompany a disabled person with a valid accessibility ticket (wheelchair user or easy access ticket). 15. What ‘proof of disability’ documents are required as part of my application? Disabled persons applying for an accessibility ticket must provide proof of eligibility as part of their accessibility ticketing application. Please provide a ‘proof of disability’ that is commonly and widely accepted in your country of residence. Please be courteous to the other fans and only apply for accessibility tickets if accessible seating is genuinely required. 16. Will audio-descriptive commentary be provided for partially sighted and blind fans? FM transmission will be available for the Super Cup. The radio frequency will be announced approximately one week prior the match and will be published in the FAQs. Alternatively, you may ask for this information directly at the stadium. 5 17. Is there a minimum age for children to attend the match? Is there any discount for children? For security reasons, no one will be allowed into the stadium without a valid ticket, children included. Please also note that there are no discounted ticket prices for children. 18. Can my child sit on my lap? Yes but for security reasons, no one will be allowed into the stadium without a valid ticket, children included. 19. Who is entitled to purchase accessibility tickets? Accessibility tickets are available for disabled persons who require accessible (disabled-friendly) seating. Two categories of disabled spectator tickets, wheelchair user and easy access, are provided in the stadium. Accessibility ticket applicants are required to provide proof of disability at the moment they submit their application. 20. Accessibility ticket applicants are required to provide proof of disability. What is the procedure for applying for accessibility tickets? If you are a wheelchair user or need easy access, and wish to apply for an accessibility ticket, please log in your account and within the “Ticket Selection” section, click on the “Accessibility Tickets” link. You will be asked to provide your proof of disability in the process. Please note that at this stage you will have the possibility to add a complementary ticket for a companion/personal assistant. In case the demand exceeds supply, your application will go into a random selection via a lottery to select the successful applicants. 21. How many tickets can I apply for? Each applicant can apply for a maximum of four (4) tickets. 22. Can tickets be ordered for a larger group (more than four people)? Group bookings are not possible, as it is our aim to enable as many different applicants as possible to attend the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™. 6 23. What is an “applicant”? An “applicant” is any natural person with legal capacity to apply and enter into an agreement for purchase of the tickets to the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ in accordance with the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ Ticketing Terms and Conditions. Applicants may apply for one ticket for themselves and, if they wish, for up to three tickets for someone else (their “guest”). Applicants must provide their personal details including for their guests. Applicants are fully and unconditionally responsible for ensuring that their guest is aware of, agrees to and complies with the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ Ticketing Terms and Conditions. In particular, applicants are responsible for ensuring that their guest received a copy of the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ Ticketing Terms and Conditions. 24. What is a “guest”? A “guest” is an individual accompanying the applicant to the match and may include for example: any relative, close friend or colleague, or in the case of an accessibility ticket holder the person accompanying him/her, for whom an applicant requests a ticket and to whom a ticket may be transferred in accordance with the 2016 UEFA Super Cup™ Ticketing Terms and Conditions. 25. Why must I bring my ID card or passport with me to the match? You need to have your ID card or passport with you on the day of the match so that your identity can be checked against the details provided with your application. Should a ticket holder not be in possession of a valid ID card or passport, they will not be allowed into the stadium. 26. Why is a national ID card or passport number required during the application process? Stadium entry and match attendance is governed by the Stadium Rules for UEFA EURO 2016 and any other applicable laws or regulations.
