Grant Application Information

The Anschutz Foundation operates as a general purpose foundation whose focus includes education and youth development, programs that promote traditional values, and programs that improve the quality of life for both individuals and communities. The Foundation does not make donations directly to individuals or to any organization that does not qualify as a 501 (c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Service.

Realizing that the cost of preparing a grant proposal can be a major expense, the Foundation recommends that new applicants send a one to two page letter of inquiry. The Foundation will use this letter as part of its screening process. Upon review of your letter, a member of the Foundation staff may contact you for further information and provide access to our on-line application which will ask you to provide additional information. Your request will remain under consideration until you receive notification that it has been either denied or awarded.

Letters of Inquiry are accepted throughout the year and should be e-mailed to taf-info([email protected] or sent to: Mr. Ted Harms Executive Director The Anschutz Foundation 1727 Tremont PI. Denver, CO 80202 (303) 308-8220

2017 proposal deadlines are January 13, March 31, July 14, and September 29th. Dates may change annually, please call us to request current deadlines. The Anschutz Foundation Grants Paid Fiscal Year 2015
