December 2-3: Rock-N-Read-Athon Beginning at 3pm on the first Friday in December (in conjunction with the Late Night Shoppers event in Lewisburg), we have a 24-hour reading marathon to promote literacy and raise funds for the Donald L. Heiter Community Center’s programs. Every 15 minutes a new participant takes over the rocking chair and reads their favorite stories. Traditionally, this event is held in a downtown storefront.
