MISHMASH & MUDDLE CHRISTMAS WISH TREE November 1st is the kick-off of our 4th annual Christmas Wish Tree event. Each year we gather names of local children who are in need of giving. Without the help of the community these children may not receive gifts during the holiday season. We are asking for donations from your company. If you have items that have not sold at your business, we would love to give those items to local families in need. All donations are tax-deductible, as we are a 501(c)3 non-profit charity. Your donations will be given to families in Elko County. Each year the number of children’s names we collect has increased. Last year we gave gifts to over 95 local children and adults. This was all possible because of the generosity of local businesses and the general public. Every year I am astounded by the response of those in this wonderful community. This year we are anticipating even more requests for assistance and hope that you can help us provide for those in need. If you would like to make a monetary donation, checks can be sent to A LIFT UP ORG (dba Mishmash & Muddle) 443 Idaho Street, Elko, Nevada 89801. In kind gifts may be dropped off at Mishmash & Muddle as well or you can call Mary McGarry at 753-8455 to arrange pickup of those items. Thank you for the services you provide in our community and please consider donating to our annual event. Chamber Business After-Hours For more information or to sign up to host, contact the Chamber at 738-7135.
