Mossel Bay Municipality appeals to the greater community to donate secondhand clothing, bed- ding and curtains in aid of persons in need and especially victims of fires and disasters. The clothing bank is managed by social workers in the Socio-Economic Development Department of the Municipality. The clothing bank is especially in need of children’s clothing of all sizes, as well as men and women sizes 30, 32 and 34. However, you are welcome to donate clothing and shoes of all sizes. Donations can be dropped off at the munici- pal offices in Hartenbos or Marsh Street, Mossel Bay, or contact municipal official Ashdean Thomas on (044) 606-5000 to arrange a pick-up.
