Department is $444,597 from COE I and $425,000 from COE II U.S./Canada Joint Commission: One of the academic researchers retained by the U.S./Canada Joint Commission on Grains to conduct special research assignments, 1995. Russian Grain Trading (The USDA COMEX Project): Co-leader of a 4-year USDA/OICD/FAS project to assist in the development of the private grain marketing industry in Russia (1993-1997). Russian Grain Marketing (USDA/AMS): Participated as a team member in a USDA/AMS special project to conduct analysis and seminars on commodity exchange trading, including rules and regulations of contracts, pricing, cash markets, and default and arbitration procedures, 1991. U.S. Congress Office of Technology Assessment: One of the Co-Principal Investigators in the study of grain quality and international competition and led the case studies on Australia and France (1988-1989). Five separate studies were conducted in the general area of grain quality in international competition. Major Contracts Received 1.
