ATLANTA HAWKS PRE-DRAFT WORKOUTS: MAY 29, 2018

The Atlanta Hawks are conducting pre-draft workouts tomorrow with the following players beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex. The workouts are closed, with player media availability at the conclusion. Media is encouraged to arrive by 10:20 a.m.

Kyran Bowman (Boston College) – Guard – 6-1, 188 An early-entry candidate ▪ Named Honorable Mention All-ACC last season ▪ Made All-ACC Freshman Team in 2016-2017 ▪ Averaged 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 38.2 minutes (.422 FG%, .362 3FG%, .807 FT%) in 2017-18, starting 35 games ▪ Made All-State team senior year at Havelock High School in Havelock, NC.

Carsen Edwards (Purdue) – Guard – 6-1, 200 An early-entry candidate ▪ As a sophomore at Purdue last season, averaged 18.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.5 minutes (37 starts), making .458 FG%, .406 3FG% and .824 FT% ▪ Second-Team All-American (by NABC) and won the Jerry West Award, given to the nation’s top shooting guard ▪ Born in Houston, TX (Atascocita HS).

Kerem Kanter (Xavier) – Forward – 6-10, 240 Pronounced CARE-em ▪ Played last season as a Graduate Student at Xavier, averaging 10.9 points and 4.5 rebounds in 16.4 minutes (.584 FG%, .777 FT%) in 35 games (16 starts) ▪ Second in the Big East in field-goal percentage ▪ Hit double-figures 22 times ▪ Spent first three seasons at Wisconsin-Green Bay, where he earned his degree in Sports Management ▪ From Istanbul, Turkey and brother, Enes, plays for the New York Knicks.

Dorian Pickens (Stanford) – Guard/Forward – 6-5, 210 A four-year player for the Cardinal ▪ As a senior last season, put in 15.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 35.1 minutes (.419 FG%, .402 3FG%, .761 FT%), starting 24 games, and was named Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year ▪ Ranks eighth in school history with 196 triples ▪ Shot .455 3FG% in league play, ranking sixth in the Conference ▪ A native of Phoenix, AZ (Pinnacle HS).

Tremont Waters (LSU) – Guard – 5-11, 167 An early-entry candidate ▪ Named to Freshman All-SEC team in 2017-18 ▪ Averaged 15.9 points, 6.0 assists and 3.4 rebounds (.417 FG%, .351 3FG%, .801 FT%) in 33.0 minutes while starting 32-of-33 games ▪ Holds record for most assists in a season for an LSU first-year player with 198 (previously , 158) ▪ Native of New Haven, CT (Notre Dame HS). Kenrich Williams (TCU) – Forward – 6-7, 210 Pronounced KEN-rich ▪ Named All Big-12 Second Team in 2017-18 after averaging 13.2 points, 9.3 rebounds (second in the Conference), 3.9 assists and 1.8 steals in 36.0 minutes (.477 FG%, .395 3FG%, .688 FT%) ▪ Finished with 877 career rebounds, fourth-most in school history ▪ NIT Most Oustanding Player in 2016-17 after leading Horned Frogs to the title ▪ From Waco, TX (Waco University HS).

NOTE: Players who have applied for early entry have the right to withdraw their names from consideration for the Draft by notifying the NBA of their decision in writing no later than 5 p.m. ET on Monday, June 11. Under NCAA rules, in order to retain college eligibility, underclassmen who have entered the 2018 Draft must withdraw by Wednesday, May 30.
