Catalyzing true change and developing a cohesive society through dozens of innovative projects across the country, the Foundation provides growth and empowerment opportunities to the many communities in Israel. We develop and support novel solutions and creative partnerships, while evaluating result-driven programs with true social impact. In keeping with its philosophy of strategic philanthropy, the Foundation established the Edmond de Rothschild Research Series, to promote excellence in research and expand the knowledge in the Foundation’s areas of interest. The booklet before you centers on Baron de Rothschild's ("Hanadiv's") Legacy, as part of the first research series which focused on three main areas: 1. Access to and Success in Higher Education: As part of its efforts to reduce social gaps, the Foundation strives to insure access to and success in higher education for periphery populations. It supports programs aimed at improving access to higher education options through preparation and guidance, reducing academic student dropout rates, and translating graduates’ education into commensurate employment. 2. Measurement and Evaluation: The Foundation seeks to constantly enhance its social impact and therefore, emphasizes measurement and evaluation of the projects it supports according to predefined, coherent criteria.

HIKING THE JESUS TRAIL: AND OTHER BIBLICAL WALKS IN THE GALILEE FREE DOWNLOAD Anna Dintaman,David Landis | 256 pages | 20 Feb 2013 | Village to Village Press | 9780984353323 | English | Hasleysville, United States Hiking the Jesus Trail and Other Biblical Walks in the Galilee One day I packed my life and started traveling… except I packed too much. Jan rated it it was amazing Jul 17, Having this book and… more. Geir Dolmen. The good thing is that Moshav Arbel is actually visible from the hills around the Horns of Hattin, so you may cut through the olive groves to reach the village for the night. The best part of it is that it also is a hotel! The remains of these villages are not immediately visible — quite often, the abandoned villages have been buried and forests were planted over the ruins. Comfortably dressed for the Jesus Trail in my Kuhl clothes. Stayed at the Wedding Guest House in Cana and it was okay. Due to its connection to Christianity, Nazareth is a major tourist spot for groups of pilgrims. David Landis. So make sure to refill water bottles and get food before getting on the actual trail. It takes around 3 and a half hour to get there. There are male and female dorms and also double rooms. The first day of the trail usually begins in Jesus's hometown of Nazareth and continues down to Sepphoris National Park, the main Roman city when Jesus was growing up. • NELL'ombelico DEL MONDO UNO SGUARDO SUL MONDO Palestina in Cammino

The book reveals details never previously documented and provides a valuable new perspective on Israel’s birth and struggle for survival. It includes eye witness reports by active participants in the events. While written mainly through South African eyes, the book also contains gripping anecdotes about volunteers from the USA, Britain and other countries. It throws new light on important events and personalities of the time. In his engaging eloquent style, Henry Katzew takes the reader on a fascinating expedition through recent historical events including: • Adventures of 8 young South Africans in their ill-fated attempt to bypass British restrictions on immigration to Palestine, by travelling overland from Pretoria.
