From the sands of Cape Cod to the shores I have yet to see, my family has been and always will be there to encourage my love of the sea and support my ambitions to explore it. With his guidance, I grew immeasurably as a scientist, but most especially in my critical thinking skills. My future in oceanography will be the better for every bit of advice he has given me.
