Welcome to the Sixth AKC National Tracking Invitational, held once again at the RAY DESMARAIS beautiful Bernheim Arboretum & Research Forest in Clermont, Kentucky. Thank you for beinng here to celebrate with us!

The AKC is pleased to invite the top tracking canines in the country to demonstrate their remarkable instincts in this unique competition. In addition to showcasinng many dedicated and talented dog and owner tracking teams, this event will also offer spectators a fascinating look at the unique scenting skills of our canines.

With a sense of smell 100,000 times stronger than humans, dogo s are often the first line of defense in bomb detection, recovery of victims from disaster, used to find lost people and animals, drugs and even to detect disease. Never before has a dog’s innate ability to follow a scent seemed more critical or relevant than in today’s world where canine scenting ability is increasingly being used in military and rescue operations. The unique talents of a highly trained canine and its handler often make the difference between life and death for a missing person. We are proud to exhibit and celebrate their invaluable skills.
