A rare individual building plot, approx 0.8 acres with detailed consent meadow house quarry lane, , ogston, A rare individual building plot approx 0.8 acres with detailed consent for an outstanding contemporary new house of approximately 4,090 sq ft set in open countryside (granted under National Planning Policy Framework) NPPF, paragraph 55

Outline Proposal A unique residential development opportunity of significant importance, granted under the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) paragraph 55. The site is located within open countryside with glorious views down across the gently sloping site towards Ogston Reservoir, set within the open countryside and in an area designated as special landscape. Ogston Reservoir set to the east of the site, is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). There are strict guidelines relating to such rare development opportunities in rural areas and the principal guidelines are that the proposed property should be of exceptional quality and innovative nature in relation to its design, helping to raise standards of design more generally in rural areas. It should reflect high standards in architecture, significantly enhance its immediate setting and be sensitive to the defining characteristics of the local area. The resultant planning consent granted by District Council under planning reference 16/00848/FL grants such permission for the erection of one new family dwelling in an integrated landscape. The overall design maximises the glorious gently sloping site which leads off the adjoining country lane to take full advantage of its gently sloping landscape setting and the stunning views down across the open countryside to the nearby Ogston Reservoir.
