Location

The Seattle EPA Regional Office is located in the Park Place Building, 1200 Sixth Avenue, Seattle, Washington 98101 in the Central Freeway Park. All visitors must stop at the 12th Floor Service Center to pick up a Visitor’s Pass before entering EPA work or conference space.

Park Place Building Entrances

You may enter the Park Place Building from the Sixth Avenue/University Street entrance (Lobby) or Seneca Street entrance (2nd Floor). The Sixth Avenue/University Street entrance is a covered concrete area with a number of large plant containers; the 2nd Floor entrance is an open area adjacent to the Central Freeway Park. Two entrances can be confusing if you enter on one and exit on the other.

Park Place Building Elevators

The Park Place Building has a new computerized elevator system which requires you to use one of the kiosks located near the elevators to select a floor. The floor selection buttons inside the elevator have been deactivated. If you enter an elevator without selecting a floor on the kiosk, you will have to get out at the first stop and use the kiosk on that floor. Press the number of your floor destination on the kiosk. In a few seconds, the kiosk will display the elevator letter (A-F) that will take you to your floor.

12th Floor Service Center/Perc

The Service Center/PERC is located on the south side of the Park Place Building on the 12th floor. Brass plates on either end of the elevators point you to the offices located on each floor. When you have located the Service Center, enter through the glass doors. Tell them that you are providing or attending training and need a Visitor’s Pass.
