349…Weird Al! I’ve always wanted to go to one of his concerts, but never could…hope he’s still touring by the time I can. Juan, volunteering to be con chair? It’s not easy, but good luck with it. Dear OASFiSians: I’d like to see more Trek series, too…the Trek universe has an infinite number of story lines.

I have here the November and December issues of the Event Same Here about Weird Al. I did get a chance to see him at Horizon, issues 348 and 349, and it tone will be tinged with the Spooky Empire. unhappy news that John Glenn has passed away, one of the world’s greatest space heroes. Can 2016 get any worse? Don’t Ah, looks like the Kansas City Worldcon was great fun. Lots of answer that… good panels, too. And, looks like the Fanzine Lounge was well guarded. My days of attending Worldcons are done, as are my 348…Conventions are still fun, but the costs continue to rise, and days of bidding. (I was on the committee for Toronto in 2003… there are still some of us who remember when the memberships for most of it.) SMOOOTH! I do wonder if cons are pacing well with inflation. I hope Worldcon comes to a city near you in the future. I hope my reports help bring the Worldcon to you. More great costumes…are there steampunk groups in Florida? I expect the answer is yes, but I rarely see steampunk costumes. I can hardly wait for this deathly year to be done, so I will adjust Too warm?
