We investigated differences in the characteristics of Al accumulation (i.e., accumulation potential, chemical form, and localization) in three woody Al accumulators, Symplocos chinensis (Symplocaceae, Ericales), Melastoma malabathricum , and Tibouchina urvilleana (both Melastomataceae, Myrtales).
