1. Teaching methods: Was the first to use Power Point Presentations for routine Class Room teaching in Department of Botany, Daulat Ram college. Presently regularly teaching through PPTs in addition to standard lectures and use of charts, models, etc. 2. Field work: Actively engaged in study of biodiversity and ecological studies in and around Delhi, Mussoorie, Nainital, Dalhousie, Shimla. Participated in student excursions to these places. Leader of student excursions to Dalhousie (1995, 2004), Nainital (2001, 2003, 2007), Mussoorie (2009). 3. Organized and/or participated in  Tree Plantation Programme of Kamla Nehru Ridge organized by Centre for Management of Degraded Ecosystems and Yamuna Biodiversity Park for colleges of Delhi University on October 1, 2014.  Visits to various institutes and organizations engaged in research in syllabus related aspects.
