OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (MARSTON AND ELSFIELD PARISHES) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that County Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 82 & 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Order, associated with an adjacent building development and for road safety reasons is to extend the 30mph (restricted road) speed limit (in place of the current 40mph) on towards north to a point 420 metres northwest of Oxford Road, Old Marston.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Marston Ferry ) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 1972, the City of Oxford (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 1972, and the Oxfordshire County Council (Marston and Elsfield Parishes) (Speed Limits) Order 2011 will be revoked.

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection online at https://consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk, or in person at County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND from 8.30am to 4.30pm weekdays, and at Old Marston Library, Mortimer Hall, Oxford Road OX3 0PH from 2 - 5pm on Tuesdays, 5.30pm to 7pm on Thursdays, 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm on Fridays, and from 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.

Any objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made, and any other representations, should be sent in writing to the address given below (or by visiting: https://consultations.oxfordshire.gov.uk) no later than 27 April 2018. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
