Alive, but changed. Now Addison, Don Jae, and, curiously, a rag doll named Vespertine, share an unholy bond and uncanny powers. From Scott Westerfeld, the inspired imagination behind bestsellers Uglies and Leviathan, comes The Broken Vow, the second volume of our highly anticipated new graphic novel series.”

Commentary: The second Spill Zone picks up right where the first one ends, and while we still don't REALLY know the exact cause of the Spill, many questions were answered in this sequel. There is much more action in this book than the first one, and it’s definitely much less confusing. The illustrations are just as beautiful as in the first. The book is also a great display of people from different backgrounds (and nationalities) working together. While some of the monsters look like they were drawn quickly and hastily, the use of color was beautiful and unique.
