-Directed the City Stars to a 73-25 record the past three years.

-Guided OCU to the 2016 Sooner Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament championships and into the NAIA Championships Sweet 16

2016 Highlights at OCU - went 32-5 with its first victories in the NAIA Championships, along with several other program milestones in 2016:

-Highest national ranking ever, finishing the season at 11.

-First SAC regular-season title.

- First 30-win season since 2008

- The SAC's 11th undefeated conference record and first 18-0 SAC record.

-American Volleyball Coaches Association NAIA South Central Region Coach of the Year

- 2015 and 2016 SAC Coach of the Year

Career at OCU (3 years)

-7 all-Americans

-9 all-region performers

-21 all-conference choices

-8 NAIA scholar-athlete award winners, 13 academic all-conference selections and one CoSIDA academic all-district pick.

-Coached the SAC Most Valuable Player, two SAC Hitter of the Year honorees, one SAC Newcomer of the Year recipient, a league Freshman of the TYear, one region Player of the Year and a region Freshman of the Year.

The Program

-OUAZ Men’s Volleyball will help prepare young men to reach their maximum potential on the court as well as prepare them for life after volleyball.

-On the court we are a high intensity, no nonsense, effort based program. We expect to win and to show up and earn the day everyday.

-Offense- Tempo based offense with 5 attacking options in every rotation idealy. A multitude of zones and tempos for each attacking position

-Defense- Disciplined perimeter defense and swing blocking system. (Blocking scheme and type of perimeter defense is based on opponent) Ball control is key and we will spend the time perfecting it.
