Why is this car smiling?

a) It’s enjoying the beautiful Southern California weather. (Aaahhh.) b) It’s powered by a 240-hp inline V6, or even a 300-hp V8. (Vroom!) c) It’s feeling pleased with itself because it’s a low-emission vehicle. (Mm-hmm.) d) All of the above. (Ah, yeah.)

With a choice of powerful engines, variable valve timing, 5-speed automatic transmission, DVD-based navigation system, speed-sensitive steering and the distinction of being a low-emission vehicle, the newly redesigned 2006 Lexus GS, available now at Lexus Santa Monica, has much to be pleased about. We think it’s just happy to be a Lexus.
