From Father Brian This weekend we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost which sees the end of Eastertide. Pentecost is regarded as the birthday of the Church and the beginning of the mission of the Church to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the whole world. May we allow the Spirit to enter our hearts so we may become instruments of the love of Christ. I apologize that for the next two Saturdays, 15th and 22nd June, there will be no morning Masses and Holy Hours. On the 15th I will be away with our confirmation candidates and on the 22nd I will be attending an orsination to the priesthood at the Cathedral.

Point to Ponder

Bethlehem was God with us. Calvary was God for us. Pentecost is God in us.

Diary Dates – we are all welcome at all events – both sides of the parish!
