The beautiful stained-glass windows were made at Buckfast Abbey and the unique 30,000 piece mosaic represents St Paul, as the “scales fell away from his eyes” (Acts, 9:18). The picture above the sanctuary is the now world-famous depiction of the Last Supper by a local artist. The statue in the corner is of St Paul Shipwrecked. It is a copy of that in the church of the same name in Valletta, Malta (see Acts, Chapters 27 and 28:1-11). The statue of Our Lady on the right hand side of the altar is of Serpentine stone. Also at the front of the Church in the right hand corner, you will see a reconstituted marble statue of the Holy Family.
