Game 13

WASHINGTON 83 UTAH 88 Jan. 4, 2016 - Salt Lake City, Utah

SALT LAKE CITY – Junior wing Paige Crozon registered her sixth double-double in the last eight games as the University of Utah women’s basketball team earned an 88-83 Pac-12 Conference victory over Washington on Jan. 4 at the Huntsman Center.

Four Utes recorded 10 or more points and Utah held a 45-34 edge in team rebounds. Utah has out-rebounded its foes in all 13 games this season. The Utes were 26-of-31 (83.9%) from the foul line, while the Huskies were 19-22 (86.4%).

Crozon poured in a career-high 24 points, which included a 9-for-10 evening from the foul line, for her second career 20-plus point game.

Sophomore wing Malia Nawahine recorded 17 points (2-of-3 from 3-point range), which fell just one point shy of her season high and was two away from her career best. Eight of Nawahine’s points came in the fourth quarter, which included a 3-for-4 performance on the foul line during the final 10 minutes of play.

Redshirt sophomore forward Emily Potter contributed 16 points (6-of-11 shooting) and grabbed nine boards, just missing her ninth double-double of the year. She was 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

Senior wing Katie Kuklok continued her tear with her fourth consecutive double-figure scoring performance as she connected on three of five 3-point attempts and was 5-of-6 from the free throw line for 14 points.

Senior point guard Danielle Rodriguez dished out 10 assists, her second game in double-digits this season. She also set a new season high with eight rebounds and scored six points.
