YARRADALE STUD 2014 YEARLING SALE - SUNDAY MAY 18th - 12.00pm O’Brien Road, Gidgegannup, Western Australia Yarradale Stud graduate GIRL IN FLIGHT OVER S 17 G 5 The recent Group winning 3YO filly N I R N A R C in the East. A E E HE LAST S T S N & I 5 CROPS OF O N V O YEARLING I E L R L I M 5 . $ 4 The last 5 crops of yearlings off YARRADALE STUD have produced the winners of over 175 races and $4.5 million in prize earnings - including the winners of over 70 races last season alone! I take pleasure in presenting to you the 2014 edition of Yarradale Stud Yearling Sale catalogue. This has been another exciting year for the farm as the winners continue to flow for Yarradale week in week out, with the winners of over 175 races and $4.5 million in prize earnings coming off the farm in the past 5 crops. The recent black type winning fillies Girl In Flight (Group 3 Schweppervescence Stakes in the East) and Soldier’s Lass (Listed Matchmaker Classic here in WA) have done us proud wearing the Yarradale colours and Soldier’s Lass is of course a Yarradale Stud Farm Sale graduate. After five successful editions of the on farm sale, we are now seeing some fantastic results and stories coming out of these sales. Another exciting part of 2014 has been seeing the first WA bred crop of WAR CHANT (USA) being offered at sale. This impeccably credentialed international stallion who shuttles to Yarradale from Three Chimneys Farm in America has proven to be very popular at the earlier yearling sales and his stock were in huge demand at the recent 2014 Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale in February. The progeny of WAR CHANT (USA) lead the way at the sale selling up to $250,000 and averaging over $94,000 in the premier session making him by far and away the most popular stallion at that sale selling to clients all over Australia and Asia. In recent weeks HELLO SAYANG an impressive daughter of WAR CHANT (USA) made her debut as a 2YO in Asia for leading trainer KL Chong and whilst thrown in against the older horses at her debut, she easily accounted for her opponents winning by an impressive 5 lengths! Of course, with the confidence I have in all the Yarradale Stud yearlings, I am more than happy to retain up to a 50% interest in each yearling to race with you and your owners. Again, we hope this is an added incentive to you, knowing you can have up to 50% of the horse paid up for. We also pride ourselves in the quality of our stock and we endeavour to be creative in ways to assist you the buyer, through our lease deals, our extended credit terms, along with retaining shares in our horses. Once again Yarradale Stud will double the value of the 2015 Karrakatta Plate stakemoney (as paid out by Perth Racing) if the winner of that race is sold as a yearling by Yarradale Stud in 2014. (see details in the conditions of sale). Yarradale Stud have enjoyed previous success in this race winning it twice and placing in it as well and we sure hope the 2015 winner wears the Yarradale brand! In closing, we hope you enjoy looking through this year’s catalogue and we again look forward to welcoming you to our farm for what will surely be a great day out and an opportunity for you to secure some of WA’s finest yearlings.
