FISCAL IMPACT: An estimate generated through the State of Texas’ DIR plans/offers is approximately $11,997.36 That is approximately $55/month/user. It marks the end of being able to just get an iOS or Android premium phone, and it shows that you don’t necessarily need to have a Sony to have an amazing camera. HTC were very pleased to announce that the camera is the best in the industry at the moment. The camera might not have the supreme megapixels of the Sony smartphone but with 8MP and the most important part, it has an f/2.0 lens, as well as a single LED flash. This makes low-light pictures so much easier to take and coupled with a 1080p video camera, it makes buying a separate digital camera a waste of money. There is an ultra-wide-angle lens on the front- facing camera, which is 2.1MP, and this is perfect for video calls to your friends on Skype. What really makes the camera good is the fact it can perform macro shots, which has a smashing depth of field and good focus. Noise suppression isn’t the greatest but only those with a really sharp eye for photography will notice. Many people feel that the camera is only missing image stabilisation, which would tighten up the images perfectly.
