Oxford, UK Oxford University is the oldest in Britain and one of the most prestigious in the world. The city of Oxford is full of wonderful buildings, fantastic museums, shops and markets, leafy parks and great places to eat. Although your work schedule will be rigorous, you will still have some time to explore in the evenings of your Oxford summer course. The colleges provide a tranquil and stimulating environment in which to live and study – it is a real privilege to spend time in them and enjoy a taste of Oxford student life.

St Anthony’s College Founded in 1950, St Antony's is one of Oxford's seven all-graduate colleges. St Antony's College is for people who have already spent 3 or 4 years at university. It specializes in international relations, history and politics, claiming to be "the most cosmopolitan of the 7 graduate schools" in Oxford. It caters to some 400 students with a lovely mixture of old and new architecture. "St Ants" is a safe and secure enclosed campus with a very relaxed atmosphere, where students can lie on the grass and read a book. Address: St Antony's College, 62 Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6JF, UK.

Accommodation Most students have their own private single study bedrooms, although some have shared rooms for two people. However, if you are attending with a friend make sure you let us know so we can make sure you are near each other in college. We may be able to room friends of the same gender together, although this depends on room availability and isn't possible in all colleges. Male and female students live separately, to ensure privacy. However, we do have a few mixed-gender corridors with en-suite (private bathrooms). If you would prefer to be on a single-gender corridor then you can tell us on your application form. En-suite rooms (with private bathroom) are available to our students. You can select this option on your application form – book early to avoid disappointment. There is a college common room where you can meet with friends to study, chat or watch TV, and laundry facilities and free internet access are also available.
