Culture Club Presents: Modern Language Cliffnotes F, July 24 3:00pm Is something going on, is everyone in the news named “Karen” nowadays? What is an “equity lens”? And what exactly does it mean to be “woke”? If you consume any media lately, especially television and social media, it seems like everyone is speaking another language, doesn’t it? This program will explain some of the frequently used words in pop culture and social issues, their definitions, and their backgrounds, which play a major role in our everyday speech and how we communicate.
