A Walk Rucksacks on coach for quick departure Points range 18-23 Starting from Conwy, we follow the Coast Path beside the estuary and then over Conwy Mountain to Sychnant Pass. Continuing W initially on the Path, then minor paths and open moor from GR SH 749 740 to Moelfre. N to the stone circles, then rejoin the Coast Path and head NE, over Foel Lus and descend to Capelulo. Paths are followed N before steep ascent of Alltwen, briefly rejoining the NW Coast Path, then descending beneath the disused quarry to cross the A55. We return to Conwy on paths, along the beach and passed the marina. Distance: 24.1kms (15mls); Ascent: 825m (2,700ft); Walk Points: 20 B Plus Walk Points range 14-18 From Conwy, S through woods and fields around Iolyn Park to B5016 (NB 200 yards on road without footpath.) Country lanes SW to Henryd, over fields and S through Parc Mawr. At Pilgrims’ Trail we ascend W to pass Llangelynin Church and Gardnedd-Wen. Turn N before Cefn Maen Amor, then over the tops to North Wales Path above Capelulo, onto Sychnant Pass and back via Conwy Mountain. Distance: 17.7kms (11mls); Ascent: 760m (2,500ft); Walk Points: 16

B Minus Walk Gaiters recommended Points range 11-14 We walk to Cadnant Park and go W parallel to North Wales Path then S to Llechwedd. West towards Craigyfedwen, SW towards Tyddyn Grasod, then SE to the C13th historic church of for lunch. From there along Parc Mawr going N then E to Henryd. Iolyn Caravan Park with great views and heading N towards Coed Benarth then NW back to Conwy. Distance: 17kms (10.4mls); Ascent: 608m (1996ft); Walk Points: 14 C Walk Points range 7-11 From Conwy we head west over Conwy Mountain to the small lake at Pen-pyra. Turning south east we cross the Sychnant Pass and on to Craigfedwen and Mount Pleasant. A short road walk leads to Cadnant Park, Bodlondeb Wood to follow a riverside path back to Conwy. Distance: 12kms ( 7.5mls); Ascent: 305m (1,000 ft); Walk Points: 10 D Walk Points range 5-7 From the harbour we proceed along the Marine Walk. Crossing above the dual carriageway we enter and traverse Mulberry Marina to reach Beacons Dune Reserve. A level path will take us through the dunes (which later gently undulate) where we turn to cross the golf course. A short retrace takes us to paths that ascend into Bodlondeb Woods bringing us back down to Conwy. Optional wall walks after main walk, light permitting.
