THE CAPITOL COMPLEX GETTING TO AND FROM Shuttle busses will transport all advocates from the Omni Shoreham Hotel to Capitol Hill on the morning of Wednesday, March 21. (You'll get more information on what time your bus departs during an info session on Tuesday, March 20.) The busses will drop you near the Senate office buildings in the morining and will pick you up near the House office buildings at the end of the day (see map for exact locations).

If you need a wheelchair on Hill Day, please send an email to Sarah DeNapoli at [email protected] or speak with her at the Forum. Please note, staff from The Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Parkinson's Foundation will not be able to push wheelchairs or provide medical care during the Forum.

ACCESSING CONGRESSIONAL BUILDINGS THROUGH TUNNELS

House Office Buildings: - Tunnels between Cannon and Longworth can be found in the of both buildings. - Tunnels between Longworth and Rayburn can be found on the level of Longworth and the sub-basement and G3 levels of Rayburn.

House building abbreviations: Cannon = CHOB, Longworth = LHOB, Rayburn = RHOB

Senate Office Buildings: - The Hart and Dirksen buildings are connected on every floor from the first to sixth levels. - Tunnels between Russell and Dirksen can be found in the basements of both buildings.

Senate building abbreviations: Hart = SH, Dirksen = SD, Russell = SR

If you are having trouble navigating through or finding the tunnels, look for signs, speak to a Capitol Police Officer or ask a staffer in your current meeting how to get to the next location. Please note, these tunnels do not connect the Senate to the House. See below on how to move between the different chambers' offices.

TRAVELING FROM THE SENATE TO THE HOUSE There are several ways to travel between Senate and House office buildings. - Walk: It takes roughly 10 to 20 minutes on foot. - Shuttle Bus: The busses will run all day between Senate and House buildings. They will pick up and drop off advocates at the points indicated on the map (on reverse side). - Taxi: You may take a taxi between congressional buildings at your own expense. Taxis are easily accessible outside of each House and Senate building.
