A desire for harmony

Patricia Riekel was motivated to become a journalist by her “passion for people“. She spent two decades as the editor of BurdaStyle magazine and editor-in-chief of BUNTE which developed to become one of Europe’s biggest people magazines thanks to her tireless dedi- cation. Patricia Riekel and Elisabeth Gürtler are linked by a long-standing friendship as well as a “creative yearning and desire for harmony”. The ASTORIA RESORT provides the power woman with the balance she needs away from her hard-working everyday life. Nevertheless, for the long-standing editor-in-chief the separation between job and leisure time is unimaginable since “Being a journalist is a 24-hour job”. She was officially appointed as our ambassador on September 6th, 2019. From 04:00 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Marcela will guide you into the soothing world of the professional sauna experience. During the 4-hour program, our sauna master will incorporate the individual require- ments and wishes of guests. She will recommend pro- ducts that are tailored to your specific needs, such as peelings, gels and lotions.

The ritual features a sauna session with three to four different procedures. It begins with a gentle salt peeling in the Spa Chalet’s luxurious steam bath. You can then relax in the spacious 42 m2 panorama sauna and enjoy the magnificent view of the Seefeld mountains, for several infusions.
