Rationale Linda Green studied at ECA in the prestigious tapestry department then the only art school pioneering tapestry as an art discipline. She followed this with a masters at the RCA in textiles where she explored the deconstruction of tapestry and developed innovative structures incorporating new materials. After an extensive two-year period of travel Linda established her studio in Edinburgh. Her subsequent career evolved into two strands; academic and professional. She lectured at Glasgow School of Art for over twenty years as well as periods at Dundee and Edinburgh. A full catalogue of professional activity including exhibitions in the UK, Japan, Europe and the USA continuously informed her teaching career. Her work is in collections worldwide.
