Coach Jarrod Skalde SKAWL-dee Clark Donatelli joined the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins as head coach on Dec. 22, 2015 after spending four seasons as the head coach of the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). Donatelli, 51, is Wheeling’s all-time leader in coaching wins, posting an overall record of 147-119-10-22. He is also the only coach in Nailers history to take the team to consecutive playoff appearances. Donatelli served one season as the Nailers’ assistant coach before taking over as head coach mid season in 2011-12. In his five years total behind the bench for Wheeling, Donatelli’s teams qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs four times. After three years playing at Boston University from 1984-87, Donatelli embarked on a seven-year pro hockey career that included 35 NHL games in which he put up three goals and three assists for six points. In his third and final season with the Terriers, Donatelli was a teammate to Sullivan. In addition to his pro hockey résumé, Donatelli had extensive experience playing for the United States. Donatelli represented the United States three times in the IIHF World Championships, captained Team USA in the 1985 World Junior Championship, and made the U.S. Olympic squad in 1988 and 1992, serving as team captain in ’92. Jarrod Skalde is in his first season as assistant coach of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He was hired by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Aug. 31, 2018 after spending the previous season in the Penguins organization as development coach with Pittsburgh. The Niagara Falls, Ontario native also has prior head coaching experience at the AHL level, serving as the Norfolk Admirals’ bench boss coach during the 2014-15 campaign. Skalde, 47, had a long professional playing career before becoming a coach. He spent 18 seasons as a pro across North America, Europe and Asia, and he racked up 115 NHL games and 575 AHL games during that time. In his NHL days, Skalde was an original Mighty Duck, playing for Anaheim’s expansion team in 1993-94, in addition to skating for the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames, San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars, Atlanta Thrashers and Philadelphia Flyers. He also was the head coach and director of hockey operations for the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones in 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012- 13, as well as head coach of the OHL’s Guelph Storm in 2015-16 and 2016-17. J.D. Forrest is in his third season as assistant coach of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He was hired by the Penguins organization on Aug. 2, 2016. He is responsible for mentoring the Penguins’ defense and coaching the team’s penalty kill units. Prior to joining Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Forrest spent the 2015-16 season coaching Red Bull Salzburg’s farm team in Austria. With Salzburg, Forrest’s team went 32-22 in the international Red Bull Hockey Series and went unbeaten (4-0) in its season- ending tournament. Before coaching Salzburg’s farm team, the 35-year-old from Auburn, N.Y. served as an assistant coach for the U.S. National Team Development Program in 2014-15. While with the USNTDP, Forrest had the opportunity to mentor future top NHL draft picks Matthew Tkachuk, Clayton Keller, Luke Kunin and Auston Matthews. He won a gold medal with the team at the IIHF U18 World Junior Championship. Following four years at Boston College, Forrest played defense for the Albany River Rats and Worcester Sharks in the AHL in 2007-08. Forrest also played pro hockey in Finland, Sweden, Switzerland and Germany. Undrafted Fourth-Year Pro Last Win: Dec. 8, 2018 vs. BRI Last Shutout: Oct. 11, 2018 at CLE 2018-19: Recorded 28 saves for his the second shutout of his AHL career on Oct. 11, 2018 at Cleveland… Earned the first assist of his AHL career on Nov. 10 at Hartford. 2017-18: Stopped 18 shots faced to shut-out Toledo in a 1-0 win for Cincinnati on Nov. 22, 2017… Signed PTO with WBS on Dec. 1 as he ranked 4th in the ECHL in goals against average (2.26) and save% (.929) at the time… Released from his PTO on Dec. 13, but signed a PTO once again with WBS on Dec. 28… Allowed 2 goals in 123 combined minutes in back-to-back AHL wins on Dec.

Cramarossa, 28 (10/26/92), split the 2020-21 season with Minnesota and the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL). The 6-foot-1, 188-pound native of Markham, Ontario, collected an assist and 15 penalty minutes (PIM) in four games with Minnesota. He made his Wild debut on March 20 at Colorado and registered 10 PIM and four hits in his first NHL game since March 21, 2017. (a) An operating grant of $500,000 BE APROVED AND PROVIDED to the 2019 IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championship Host Organizing Committee noting that Tourism London will contribute $100,000 to the said operations. A source of financing has been identified that is aligned with the purpose of stimulating economic growth. Tourism London will apply for additional funding through the Province’s Sport Hosting funding program. The process requires the event be vetted through the program for consideration of support up $1M. There is potential for additional funding not only through the Ministry based on historical support of the event in different cities, but also at the federal level. The City of Windsor will have a report going to their City Council regarding the 2019 IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championship sometime within the next month. The above funding request is subject to London and Windsor successfully being awarded the event. BACKGROUND The International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) has awarded Hockey Canada the right to host the 2019 IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. In order to determine which Canadian cities will host the event, Hockey Canada has invited prospective municipalities to bid, with the successful applicant being awarded the event.
