Transit Lounge You would recall the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 that went missing on 8th March. Unfortunately Malaysia Airlines has suffered another blow — Flight MH17, an international passenger flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on 17th July 2014.

It’s believed to have been shot down with a surface-to-air missile. The aircraft went down near Hrabove in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine about 40 km from the Ukraine–Russia border. Tragically, all 283 passengers and 15 crew on board the airliner died. Malaysia Airlines released a statement saying it received notification from Ukrainian ATC that it had lost contact with flight MH17 at 14.15 (GMT). Below is a bi-wheel of the flight’s disappearance outside Malaysia’s chart.

Using Cosmobiology and the 8th Harmonic

to Study Stock Market Cycles By Olga Morales

W.D. Gann’s favourite harmonic for studying Time and Price cycles was the 8th Harmonic. Did you know that legendary trader W.D. Gann was an astrologer?

Newspaper articles in the 1920's called W.D. Gann a prophet and a mathematical seer. "Mr Gann has made noteworthy forecasts of the markets which proved to be true in the course of time. His calculations are based on Letters, Numbers and Astrology." "Mr Gann gets calls every day from men and women prominent in all walks of life asking him to cast their . He tells politicians whether or not they will be elected and solves other problems for clergymen, bankers and statesmen."

In 1914, he was a member of The Astrological Society, Inc N.Y. with Sepharial, George Llewellyn, Frank C Higgins and had associations with Edward Johndro, Luther Jensen and CC Zain. Gann also published a list of recommended books he had for sale - topics included Numerology, Astrology, the Tarot and other esoteric titles such as the Oracles of Nostradamus. In his coded novel The Tunnel Thru the Air (TTTA) he wrote about mediums, clairvoyants and even Atlantis! Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of Sherlock Holmes and The Lost World, is also mentioned, as he was a prominent researcher of Spiritualism in the 1920's, travelling the world investigating reports of supernatural spirit phenomena.

From TTTA, “ I believe in the stars, I believe in Astrology and I have figured out my own destiny. The Bible makes it plain that the stars do rule. 147th Psalm, 4th Verse: “He tellest the number of stars, he callest them all by name. I believe the wise men of the East, the astrologists before the birth of Jesus Christ, knew where and when he would be born by the study of the stars."

It has been said that to truly understand the secrets and symbolism in TTTA you need not only to be an astrologer but also a high degree Mason like Gann. In this regard, my research reveals that Masonic rituals stem from ancient Egypt and the Temples of Initiation. We know that Pythagoras was initiated into the Egyptian mysteries and taught the secrets by the High Priests. Gann made trips to both Egypt and India in search of ancient texts where he found the Square of Nine, an ancient system of both Time and Number also referred to as The Pythagorean Cube and the foundation of ancient Numerology.

“The SQUARE OF NINE is very important because nine digits are used in measuring everything. We cannot go beyond 9 without starting to repeat and using 0. If we divide 360⁰ by 9, we get 40, which measures 40⁰, 40 months, 40 days and 40 weeks and why bottom and tops often come out on these angles measured by one-ninth of the circle. This is why the children of Israel were 40 years in the wilderness”.

Did you know that the Great Pyramid of Giza has eight sides?

“One very unusual feature of the Great Pyramid is a concavity of the core that makes the monument an eight-sided figure, rather than four-sided like every other Egyptian pyramid. That is to say, that its four sides are hollowed in or indented along their central lines, from base to peak. This concavity divides each of the apparent four sides in half, creating a very special and unusual eight-sided pyramid; and it is executed to such an extraordinary degree of precision as to enter the realm of the uncanny. For, viewed from any ground position or distance, this concavity is quite invisible to the naked eye. The hollowing-in can be noticed only from the air, and only at certain times of the day. This explains why virtually every available photograph of the Great Pyramid does not show the hollowing-in phenomenon, and why the concavity was never discovered until the age of aviation. It was discovered quite by accident in 1940, when a British Air Force pilot, P. Groves, was flying over the pyramid. He happened to notice the concavity and captured it in the now-famous photograph.”

When referring to the Square of Nine, Gann wrote, “The angles 90, 180, 270 and 360 form the first important cross, known as the Cardinal Cross. The angles of 45, 135, 225 and 315 form the next important cross, called the fixed cross. These angles are very Horizons August 2014 page 5

important for the measurements of time, space and volume.” All these angles are known as Gann seasonal dates and mid-seasons in trading and divide the circle by the 8th harmonic (Diagram 1).

Since I'm a Cosmobiologist, I use the 90 degree dial which incorporates both the 4th and 8th harmonics. Imagine overlapping four quarters one on top of the other, all joining at zero degrees. (See Diagram 2.)

The four cardinal points all overlap at the zero point on the dial and the 15 degrees of the fixed cross align directly across the dial. As you can see, any degree directly across the dial, that looks like an opposition, is actually half of the 90 degrees, therefore has to be either semi- square (45) or sesquiquadrate (135) - this is the 8th harmonic. When we work with the 90 degree dial, one must therefore always consider what is across the dial. For example, in Diagram 2, 21 degrees mutable will equal 6 Fixed across the dial.

When I first started researching Gann’s work, I wanted all and any of his charts, especially those with and . One particular horoscope he had drawn for Diagram 1 – Square of Nine (8 sections of the Great Pyramid). when Coffee Futures started Trading, the date being 17th March 1882 at 10.30 am New York. A copy of his hand drawn chart is on page 6. You can see how he has drawn the natal positions then the transits of an extreme low in coffee on Oct 10th in 1936 (low 3 cents, written in the lower right hand corner). 21 Mutable Beneath that I have replicated this chart as a bi- wheel (page 8) highlighting the major aspects to the natal chart. The natal sun position is 17 degrees of Pisces, and at the extreme low, transiting Saturn was forming an opposition to transiting Neptune both square transiting Jupiter - this is known as a T-Square and a classic midpoint structure, where transiting Jupiter = Saturn/Neptune midpoint all at 17 degrees mutable and therefore directly triggering the natal Sun.

If we now look at this combination on the 90 degree dial (Bi-wheel 2 on page 9) you can see all the transiting planets together triggering the natal Sun/Uranus /Asc in the mutable section. This is all hard energy that will not go unnoticed.

Has this axis remained active? The answer is yes, the most current extreme low in Coffee was 25th May 2002 and you can see that transit- ing Saturn was square transiting Pluto in the same mutable area (Bi-wheel 3 on page 9). Therefore, finding sensitive degrees within the 6 Fixed Diagram 2 natal chart provides one with hot spots to watch 90 degree dial for future transits. Changes to VAA Membership

Payment of membership fees at the end of the year is proving problematic for some members, so the committee has decided to change the membership period to correspond with the Financial Year.

As of 1st July 2014, we will begin to phase in the change. From then, and at the expiration of the current membership term, members will have a choice of paying either for 6 months to 30th June 2015 or 18 months to 30th June 2016 at the current rate.

Rather than increase membership fees at present, we will introduce an enhanced New Member Welcome Package and there will be a joining fee of $15. This will apply from 1st July 2014

There will remain a 2 month grace period to renew membership, and any membership that lapses past the 2 month grace period will also incur the $15 joining fee. page 8 Horizons August 2014

The 90 degree dial incorporates both the 4th and 8th harmonics, and therefore works like magic for Gann analysis. The four cardinal points all overlap at the zero point on the dial and the 15 degrees of the fixed cross align directly across the dial. Studying planetary cycles according to these harmonics brings another dimension to your analysis - revealing sensitive degrees that often are overlooked by traditional methods.
