Job Summary: Produce strong digital media content, conducting interviews and writing features. Provide comprehensive media coverage across multiple platforms for our fans and followers. Roles and Responsibilities: • Attend all Burnley FC home and away games providing comprehensive media coverage across multiple platforms for our fans and followers. • Conduct pre and post-match interviews with manager and players. Upload content to the club’s website and social media channels. • Write match previews and reports – publish on the club’s website and matchday programme. • Contribute with content ideas for the website, social media and matchday programme. • Develop and deploy press releases and announcements that align our communications to the core brand values around Forever Forward. • Liaise with internal departments to ensure that high-quality content is delivered. • Ensure that our communications positively impact perception and sentiment around Burnley Football Club. • Keep open dialogue with other club journalists throughout the year to create positive sentiment behind-the- scenes around Burnley Football Club. • To be able to work flexible and unsociable hours where the role of the job requires. • To work towards agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). • Comply with all Club policies. • Promote the Burnley FC brand and ethos in a professional, strong, and positive manner. • Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organisation as and when required to promote best practice. • To understand and implement the Club’s Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines in your role. • A commitment to equality and diversity in the workplace. • Willingness to attend training courses including Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity. • Always demonstrate the Club’s values. • This job description is issued as a guideline to assist you in your duties and is not exhaustive.
