The ticket office is signalled by a canopy and a standing letters sign placed at the horizontal datum of the existing cladding. This canopy wraps around the corner to lead the visitors toward the entrances, extending above the building’s recessed entrance, and continues as a line above the perforated steel sheet panels along the Jimmy McIlroy Stand. The facade itself is split into three parts. The outer solid and opaque parts frame a lighter translucent box highlighting the entrance and the internal activity. The ticket office doors are made of perforated steel sheet panels.They will remain open during the ticket office opening hours. The entrance door and frame are blue powder coated metal contrasting with the claret powder coated wall, following guidance in BS8300. The facade is split into two parts. The vertical circulation core is clad in glassfibre reinforced concrete. The activity on the concourse space is subtly revealed by the polycarbonate cladding. The facade is split into three elements, with two solid volumes framing a lighter translucent box. A screen formed of perforated steel sheets leads the visitors toward the entrance. The graphics on this screen will be drawn by the perforations. The entrance is sheltered by a canopy that supports an illuminated sign formed of standing letters. This canopy, placed at the horizontal datum of the blue line on the existing stands, visually links the new building to its context. This line wraps around the corner of the building as a shallow ledge. The entrance door and frame are blue powder coated metal contrasting with the claret powder coated wall, following guidance in BS8300. At ground level the glassfibre reinforced panels are etched with text relating to the history of the Club and the ground (content of text TBC). A ramp will extend out of the building footprint. The composition of the facade is similar to the East elevation, presenting three volumes, linked by a ledge following the existing horizontal datum of the blue line on the existing stands. At ground level, the glass fibre reinforced concrete panels are etched with text (content of text TBC) in continuity with the East elevation. The doors on this elevation are service doors, and are thus painted claret to blend into the claret wall.     Felly’s Football Tour Sprint/Summer 2021 (tbc) Fundraising for Fellysfund in memory of our good friend The Motivation To Turf Moor To the University of Bolton Stadium Supporting Felly’s Fund To Deepdale To Goodison Park To Boundary Park Felly's Football Tour Introduction 3 Redwood Events have been arranging charity walks and cycle events since 2007 and have recently started to work with the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation. This has given us a great exposure to, and understanding of, the challenges that the Motor Neurone Disease can bring. Life changes very quickly for those diagnosed with MND and for their families. The average life expectancy for someone with Motor Neurone Disease is just 2-5 years from the onset of symptoms. A third of people diagnosed will die within a year and half within 2 years. It’s a 1/300 lifetime risk in the UK of being diagnosed with MND. That’s 3 children in each and every school today. There is no known cause of MND and there is no cure or effective treatment, it’s always fatal. When Paul Stanway talked to us about the great work they have done in memory of their great friend Felly, we were very keen to help. Felly’s Football Tour will combine a 131 mile continuous walking tour from Liverpool FC (Felly’s favourite team) to Fleetwood Town FC calling at fifteen other football grounds in between. This is a journey of 130 miles. After a short break for breakfast, the walking will give to cycling as riders will then head north from Fleetwood Town to Barrow AFC via Morecambe FC, a journey of 73 miles.

United were sitting atop the Division One table as they travelled to Turf Moor to face a promising young Burnley team.
