There are a range of covers and pads available to protect bedding and furniture. Plastic or PVC is the cheapest and also the most common material which is used for covers. However, plastic covers don’t last very long as plastic becomes hard and splits. Plastic may be best to use in the short term, for taking away on holiday for example.

There are some new and improved fabrics which contain polyurethane and polyester.
