Windsurfer and Junior Races After 40 to 45 minutes: Either open the finish line by raising the S flag and Windsurfer / Junior flags on the committee boat with two sound signals. Every boat which crosses the finish line is a finisher. Give each finishing boat a short hoot on the horn. Or finish the first boat between a and a safety boat displaying the S flag and the Windsurfer/ Junior fleet flags.

Record the number of laps and the finishing time of each boat.

Pursuit Anticipate where the leading boat will be at 75 minutes. Position a Safety boat displaying the blue flag at that point. At 75 minutes exactly, sound one long hoot on the horn. Boats should not change positions after this signal.

The finish line is a moving line. The safety boat should then go from the lead boat back through the fleet as fast as it is possible to record the finishing order until the last boat has been reached.
